SWABS monthly association meeting open to the public is the 3rd Tuesday of each month held at the Foothills Service Center, 4001 E. Foothills Dr. Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 (big building on the corner of HWY 92 & Foothills), time is 6:30pm to 8:30pm. If you need any additional information please contact 520-449-0871.

May 15, 2010 Guided Tour of Buffalo Soldier Historic Sites
Learn about the accomplishments and history of Fort Huachuca’s Buffalo Soldiers from members of the SWABS. Bus tour departs from the Sierra Vista Visitors Center at 11:30 a.m. and returns at approximately 3 p.m. $12 per person. Reservations required. Call (520) 417-6960 or (800) 288-3861 for details. Note: The post is an active military installation. US citizens may take the tour and must provide valid photo identification if over age 13.
 
     
 
Save and restore The Mountain View Colored Officers’ Club.
Research all aspects of Black men and women in the service of our Nation during the time of segregation.
Inform the general public of the historical significance of the Buffalo Soldiers.
Plan and organize annual “Salute to Buffalo Soldier Days” in Sierra Vista/Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
Establish an African American Military Research Center.
